We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Independent Accountant at our Novi Sad location.
Typhoon HIL, Inc. a growing power electronics company developing next generation real-time simulation tools, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems, and DSP based rapid control prototyping for applications in solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
We are building our market leading business development and lead generation team to work collaboratively with our sales team to secure new clients, expand into existing key accounts and close deals. We are looking for bright, energetic and highly-motivated professionals that are career-minded not job-minded, with a strong record of success in whatever you have done.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming invoices: receipt, entry, and posting
- Handle outgoing invoices and bank statements (in both local and foreign currency)
- Prepare monthly VAT reports independently
- Prepare annual financial statements and audit documentation independently
- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable
- Making sure regulations and accounting practices are in compliance
- Execute payment transactions if needed (in local and foreign currency)
- Assist with payroll processing if required
- Perform other tasks as directed by the CEO and CFO
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related fields (preferably from The Faculty of Economics)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Proficient in English (at least B2 level in writing and speaking)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing or IT industry
- Familiar with the Dynamics NAV accounting software
- Strong motivation for career advancement and professional growth
