In May 2025 in Barcelona, we had the pleasure of hosting a full-day seminar on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) real-time simulation at ESEIAAT-UPC, in collaboration with our trusted distribution partner TESINEL.

Held at the UPC’s GAIA building, the event brought together engineers, researchers, and industry professionals to explore how integrated model-based engineering is accelerating digital power innovation in e-Mobility and Grid Modernization.

Throughout the day, Dragan Zuber and Jovana Markovic from our team have guided participants through real-time simulation workflows for power converters, BMS, and microgrids. Hands-on sessions offered attendees the opportunity to work directly with models, tools, and real controller hardware in a collaborative learning environment.

We extend our gratitude to Prof. Alvaro Luna for his continued support and warm welcome, and to Carlos Garcia and Víctor Sánchez Calvo from TESINEL for their help in organizing and delivering the seminar on-site.

A big thank-you also goes out to the companies whose representatives joined us and contributed to the engaging discussions throughout the day: Applus+, BOLD, Centre Tecnològic de la QuĂmica a Catalunya, ABB, IREC – Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya, VectorTech , FICOSA, Applus+ IDIADA.
