HIL Calibration Cards

While all HIL devices are factory-calibrated, over time, due to component aging and drift, the HIL I/O stage may exhibit some small gain and offset errors. The HIL4 Calibration Card and HIL6 Calibration Card are designed to help remove these errors via a single-click calibration routine.

Ideal Sandbox for Power Electronics Control Development

In less than 5 minutes, you can connect your dSPACE rapid control prototyping (RCP) hardware to a Typhoon HIL real-time simulator, map all the signals, adjust scaling gains, build a real-time simulation model in Typhoon Schematic Editor, click compile and start running real-time simulation with the closed loop control.

If you are using dSPACE MicroLabBox for RPC, you only need a HIL dS Interface (Type-A, Type-B or Type-C) and one of our ultra-high fidelity real-time HIL emulators to start ā€œtest drivingā€ your controller. HIL dS Interface cards provides a pin-to-pin compatible interface between all Typhoon HIL emulators (4-Series and 6-Series) and the dSPACE’s MicroLabBox, top panel variant, as well DS1103 and DS1104 controllers.

Take advantage of our vast array of ultra high-fidelity power electronics and electric motor models to validate the performance of your controller under any condition, including faults.

This helps you to:

  • Start testing and validating your dSPACE MicroLabBox rapid control prototyping code early
  • Test early and test often
  • Start preparing test scripts early in the design phase
