HIL Calibration Cards

While all HIL devices are factory-calibrated, over time, due to component aging and drift, the HIL I/O stage may exhibit some small gain and offset errors. The HIL4 Calibration Card and HIL6 Calibration Card are designed to help remove these errors via a single-click calibration routine.

Maintaining Accuracy with One-Click Calibration

Hardware-in-the-loop systems are factory-calibrated to deliver precise and reliable results from day one. Over time, small variations in analog and digital I/O can naturally emerge. Using a simple, repeatable calibration process helps maintain measurement integrity and ensures continued confidence in test results.

When plugged into your HIL, the Calibration Card automatically measures gain and offset errors across all analog input and output channels. Analog inputs are verified using the card’s precision voltage references, followed by validation of analog outputs through the analog input paths. The entire process runs with a single click, restoring I/O performance to factory-level accuracy and confirming that your HIL system is operating as intended.

HIL4 Calibration Card

The HIL4 Calibration Card is designed for HIL101 and all HIL4-series simulators, enabling one-click testing and calibration of analog, digital, and power supply I/O. It plugs directly into the HIL device and uses precision onboard voltage references to ensure accurate, repeatable calibration results.

HIL6 Calibration Card

The HIL6 Calibration Card supports all HIL5- and HIL6-series simulators and offers the same one-click test and calibration workflow for full I/O verification and calibration. Direct DIN41612 connectivity and integrated status indicators make it easy to validate system health and maintain long-term measurement accuracy.
