Independent sources

We support both independent voltage sources and independent current sources, as shown in Table 1. Typhoon HIL tool chain enables user to specify and modify source waveforms in two ways: with provided property fields (on component's masks) or during simulation runtime (either from HIL SCADA or HIL API). The waveforms are dynamically uploaded to the FPGA Solver using double-buffering technique and played back at full simulation rate using linear interpolation function. Second concept provides high level of flexibility in specifying grid disturbances and other fault and non-standard operating conditions.
