Modeling principles

This section describes modeling principles used in Typhoon HIL's software.

This section explains how modeling is done in the Typhoon HIL toolchain.

For real time/VHIL simulation, it is organized into three main parts which explain how the system is designed (System architecture basics), how the FPGA solver works (Electrical domain modeling principles and constraints) and how the signal processing is implemented (Signal processing modeling principles), respectively. Documentation in this section provides information relevant for optimal modeling of your power stage and allows you to make the best use of the available computational resources of your HIL device.

For TyphoonSim, the basic modeling principles for electrical and signal processing domains are described in sections Electrical domain modeling principles and constraints and Signal processing modeling principles.
