Ground component

Description of the Ground component in Schematic Editor

Ground

The scope of the Ground component can be:
  1. per device, in this case all nodes with ground components will be shorted, or
  2. per core (SPC), in this case each core can have a ground component.
The first option is the default behavior of a ground component. As a consequence, all ground components must be constrained to a single core of the model. When the second option is desirable, enable the Set Ground component scope to core property and then, ground components from different cores will not be shorted.
This property is located in the Circuit Solver settings tab in the Model Settings window as shown in Figure 1.
