Schematic Editor components available in the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) sub-category of the Microgrid library category

The Microgrid library contains a wide array of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) components for representing components and devices that are frequently found in AC and DC microgrids. These are typically divided between Generic components, which are more suitable for higher level controls, and Legacy components, also called Switching and Average components, which are more suited for testing a converter controller. An application note highlighting the differences between Switching and Average components can be found here.

Distributed Energy Resource components are divided into several types:

Additionally, Frequency droop in generic DER components, Voltage droop in generic DER components, and LVRT in generic DER components provide detailed information about how those behaviors are calculated in Generic components.
