# Ideal transformer

This section describes ideal transformer

The single-phase ideal transformer is composed of an ideal current controlled current source on one side and an ideal voltage controlled voltage source on other side. The schematic symbol and input parameters for the single-phase ideal transformer component are given in Table 1. Number of turn on current source side and number of turns on voltage source side can be set through parameters N1 and N2. The transfer ration of the ideal transformer can be calculated as:
