Nonlinear Machines Toolbox
Schematic Editor functionalities available through the Nonlinear Machines Toolbox
The Nonlinear Machines Toolbox is an additional toolbox that integrates real-time modeling of nonlinear machine components which include magnetic saturation effects and spatial harmonics. Models come in two forms: nonlinear models and nonlinear - spatial harmonic models. For nonlinear models, flux or inductance is defined as a function of the magnetizing current. For nonlinear - spatial harmonic models, flux is defined as a function of currents and rotor position. These functions are represented in the form of lookup tables.
Table 1 lists all Schematic Editor components enabled for real-time modeling of saturation and spatial harmonic calculations by unlocking the Nonlinear Machines Toolbox.
For information about other toolboxes, please refer to the Schematic Editor Toolboxes documentation.
