Nonlinear Machines Toolbox

Schematic Editor components available through the Nonlinear Machines Toolbox

The Nonlinear Machines Toolbox is an additional toolbox that integrates nonlinear machine models which include magnetic saturation effects and spatial harmonics. Models come in two forms: nonlinear models and nonlinear - spatial harmonic models. For nonlinear models, flux or inductance is defined as a function of the magnetizing current. For nonlinear - spatial harmonic models, flux is defined as a function of currents and rotor position. These functions are represented in the form of lookup tables.

Table 1 lists all Schematic Editor components enabled for saturation and spatial harmonic calculations by unlocking the Nonlinear Machines Toolbox. To check the models available in another toolbox, please refer to the Schematic Editor Toolboxes documentation.
