ABB PowerLink module

Real-time only: This document is valid only for real-time/VHIL simulation.

Note: This component uses the special ABB proprietary protocols support hardware resource for GPIO communication, which is only available via a custom hardware configuration. For more information on Custom configurations, please contact Typhoon HIL via the ticketing system or request a custom configuration for your site.

The ABB PowerLink module extends Typhoon HIL devices with the ability to perform real time deterministic communication between various ABB controllers. In this way, it is possible to validate the communication capabilities with ABB devices.

Table 1 lists the components available for real-time simulation through the ABB PowerLink license.
