Modeling principles

This section describes modeling principles used in Typhoon HIL's software.

This chapter explains how modeling is done in Typhoon HIL toolchain. It is organized into three main parts which explain how the system is designed (System architecture basics), how the FPGA solver works (Electrical domain modeling principles and constraints) and how the signal processing is implemented (Signal processing modeling principles), respectively. The chapter provides information relevant for optimal modeling of your power stage and allows you to make the best use of the available computational resources of your HIL device.
