Setup guidelines for systems featuring the HIL Remote IO Interface

Note: For more information on how to use the HIL Remote IO Interface in Typhoon HIL Control Center, please refer to the Remote IO Interface (Ethernet) documentation.
The HIL Remote IO Interface can be controlled via Ethernet, but the following conditions must be met for successful operation:
  1. All Remote IO units must be connected to a dedicated network to avoid congestion. A block diagram of an example network is shown on the Figure 1.
  2. The IP address must be configured in the THCC component and physically set on the device's rear panel.
  3. Both ports of the HIL Remote IO Interface must be connected to the Ethernet switch.
