Typhoon HIL DSP Interface boards, specially built for C2000 family of Texas Instruments 100 and 180 pin control cards, is the way to go if you want to accelerate the development of power electronics applications. HIL DSP Interface provides a pin-to-pin compatible interface between Typhoon HIL emulators and C2000 control cards thus eliminating the setup time.
Developers can now focus on DSP control code development in the comfort of their office using HIL DSP development system, without worrying about any interface issues (i.e. voltage levels and interface compatibility).
HIL DSP Interface advantage
In less than 5 minute a first time user can plug a HIL DSP Interface to a Typhoon HIL real-time emulator, map the feedbacks and run with a closed loop control.
Users can now work directly with advanced C2000 controllers, such as Delfino F28377 and F28379. Debug application via built-in JTAG emulator or access controller via UART port. All HIL and DSP analog/digital I/O pins are physically accessible via headers and connectors on the board.

HIL DSP Interface with HIL402 workstation offers engaging, highly interactive and fun approach to learning power electronics and digital controls applied to grid connected converters, motor drives, renewables, active filters and smart grid applications. Students quickly get immersed by first running pre-packaged controller code examples under different operating conditions including grid disturbances and faults.
Subsequently, students progress and learn to develop open loop control, and then closed loop control, including PWM modulation, PLL synchronization with the grid, grid currents control and DC link voltage control. All this in a completely safe environment while working with "MW" of power.
